当孝敬父母

感谢主，
藉着圣诞佳节，
让我在这个月有机会到老人院和养老院与公公和婆婆接触。

他们真的很可爱，
也很愿意与我们年轻的一辈敞开心聊天。

在谈话中，
我得知他们需要的是家人的陪伴、关怀；
每当我问他们过得好吗？
他们一副无奈的表情说：“还不是那样~”
试问有谁愿意住在老人院，
虽然说老人院的环境不错，
三餐温饱、
又有人照顾。
但这些都不及家里来的温暖。

还有，
我发现他们的思想都很消极，
都说希望快快“垮下”就一了百了。
他们也觉得自己没用、
一无是处，
不识字，
只会烧饭削番薯。
还有一位公公还说自己是孩子的包袱，
所以希望早点死了就不会带给孩子负担。

我只能说：
孝顺父母是我们孩子的福分，
并不是负担，
试想想当年我们出生时只有区区的2-3kg，
一个手掌那么大而已，
然后他们千辛万苦地 抚养我们长大，
读大学，
当事业有成时就把爸爸妈妈送到老人院，
原因：工作忙，没时间照顾他们等等。
难道你也希望你的孩子将来也像你那样对你的父母吗？
我相信没有人想这样吧?

我们也试着向一位陈老公公传福音，
虽然他接触福音有一段时间了，
但因为心里还一直持守着祖父当年留下的遗言---
不可进其他宗教，
生要做陈家的人，死也要做陈家的鬼。
因为这样，
他迟迟不愿接受耶稣进入他的心，
即便耶稣已在他的心门外叩门了。
我们现在能做的，
就是为他祷告，
求圣灵在当中运行，
让他能放下心中的忧虑，
接受那份最棒的礼物。

 “要孝敬父母，使你得福，在世長壽。這是第一條帶應許的誡命。”（弗六：2）
